Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18th, 1967, is an American actress, producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just a few of her film roles. Bello was a major player on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and with other prominent roles, like Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath as well as Jacqueline Sloane, Special Agent on NCIS from 2017 to 2021. Bello was born in Norristown to Kathy Bello and Joe Bello. In the seventh grade at Villanova University, she majored in politics. After graduating, Bello honed her acting abilities in several New York theater productions. Bello has one son named Jackson with her former boyfriend Dan McDermott. In November 2013 she wrote about her having a relationship that was sex with her ex-partner Clare Munn. The book she published was titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the Labels we Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28 and 29, 2015).
