Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as a host of American television at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will leave the show in the month of May 2021 in order to begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. Her guest appearances include on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her interest in politics partly due to her experience being a mother in the 2008 primaries. Furthermore, she witnessed the US elections for president during her time working in Jordan. She observed how it affected the citizens of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation for the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 through July 2015, she hosted the MSNBC program The Cycle. She founded the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
