Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th 1965. She is an American actress and producer. Her most well-known work is her starring role as deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received an award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. The seventh season of the show ended on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Her mother was Jewish. Her father was an Episcopalian, of English heritage. Sedgwick is a self-described Jewish, and she has said that she participates at Passover seders.
